Clare is a Freshman at Capital University studying creative writing, literature, and philosophy. She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio by two loving parents, an older brother, and two cats. In the future, Clare intends to become a professor; her ideal job would be to work in Duke University's Polarization Lab. Clare works in her University's Cabaret Theatre building sets for their productions. She currently serves as the Outreach Director of the LOG OFF Movement, a teen-led organization focused on opening up a dialogue about the effects of social media. She is an advisory board member for The Conversationalist, a Gen Z community looking to break open echo chambers and unify the world. Clare is also a member of the Creative Writing Club.

In her most recent endeavors, Clare wants to co-launch two new student organizations at her school. BridgeUSA is a chapter of a national organization on college campuses that seeks to bridge the political divide between liberals and conservatives. The second organization is the Doubter's Club which seeks to pursue truth with people who think differently through discussions moderated by two friends, one Christian, and one atheist. Clare is passionate about many topics from human rights and animal suffering, to technology, philosophy, psychology, literature, and politics. She struggled with the societal concept that we must choose one issue to advocate for and create progress in. When she found herself in the work of depolarization she knew that it was the space for her because the work of depolarization is making sure everyone is able to voice their passions and personal experiences and be heard and respected. Empathy, Unity, Depolarization, and Active Listening are all titles for the same act, taking space and making space. Making space for other truths and experiences, ones you agree with, disagree with, and ones you weren't even aware existed.
